TRIATHALON “BUTTER”
MUSIC VIDEO | 2019

Designed to melt the mind like “Butter,” this music video hand-blends live action footage, 3D animation, and analog video synthesis. This video was shot on a green-screen in a terribly cramped apartment in Brooklyn. To pull off the zoom transitions, we used purple paint and construction paper. After the shoot, this video took a year in post to finish. This process combined After Effects, Premiere Pro, Touchdesigner, and some stop-motion elements to edit the foreground alone. The background was generated with the LZX Vidiot, the Critter & Guitari ETC, and the Tachyons+ Vortex Decoder,
